NOEL GROUP SELLS TRAVEL GUARD INTERNATIONAL TO AIG

Stevens Point, WI, May 1, 2006 – The acquisition of Stevens Point-based Travel Guard International and several affiliated companies by New York based American International Group, Inc. (AIG) was completed today. Based in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, Travel Guard is one of the nation’s leading providers of travel insurance and assistance programs. AIG, world leaders in insurance and financial services, is the leading international insurance organization.

As announced earlier, John M. Noel will continue to serve as Travel Guard's Chief Executive Officer and the current executive team remains intact. The company will maintain its principal offices in Stevens Point, Wisconsin and operate as Travel Guard International, a wholly owned subsidiary of AIG Travel Services, Inc., a member company of American International Group, Inc.
